firstly i want to apologise for my lack of blog updates.. it was a crazy couple of months leading up to christmas and i struggled to stay on top of everything so the blog got neglected!
thank you all again for your support over the last year. it really means alot and makes my job alot easier when i have such lovely customers and followers.
i hope you all had a wonderful christmas with your families... we had a lovely day and the kids had a great time as you can see by the video i made. i am looking forward to bigger and better things in 2013 and cant wait for a fresh start to a new year.
all the best for the holiday season and see you all next year
Six years ago today I married the best man I could have ever hoped for. He supports me 100% and has helped me make and raise the three most beautiful children. We have had hard times but too many good to count and I wouldn't have wanted to do it all with anyone else... Love you to the moon and back babe xx
Here is a small video I made with some photos from our day.
I love vintage.. i am a thrift/op shop regular visitor! I recently made up the cot quilt and fell in love. It is now on its way to its new home and I hope it is loved there too!!!
We had a lovely weekend... It started Friday night when i organised to go to the finders keepers market in carlton BY MYSELF (yes child free!!) it was great i had a wonder around and chatted to some market friends. Its amazing how relaxing shopping child free is! I picked up some paper from Bespoke Letterpress, Washi Tape to make Maisy wall decoration (see pic above), A Lion Rattle from the gorgeous Bec at La DeDah Kids, A T-Shirt for Baylin from Tinker Printink Studio and a gorgeous (on the wishlist for ages) necklace from Emily Green! Sunday was then the Mornington Main St Food and Wine Festival... So we walked down and drank coffee, ate donuts, watched musicians, touched animals in the animal farm and played mini golf! It was a lovely day.. I hope you all had a great weekend too... Tuesday already.. SCARY!!
With summer approaching (well maybe warmer weather) I wanted to get around to making Maisy a dress. I am picky with what I buy (i think of it as a good thing!) so wanted to make sure it was obviously something I would pay money for in the shop. I love simple and linen and floral so I combined all three and this is the result! I love it and so does she :)
On Sunday (a few weeks back now!) we packed the car and headed off for another visit to Collingwood Childrens Farm. It is so worth a visit if you havent been. Lots of animals to see and touch. A cafe with yummy food to eat and lots of family fun time to be had...
Its a beautiful setting with lovely grounds and buildings. Here is a few snaps from our visit!
