Finders Keepers Market & Festival

We had a lovely weekend... It started Friday night when i organised to go to the finders keepers market in carlton BY MYSELF (yes child free!!) it was great i had a wonder around and chatted to some market friends. Its amazing how relaxing shopping child free is! I picked up some paper from Bespoke Letterpress, Washi Tape to make Maisy wall decoration (see pic above), A Lion Rattle from the gorgeous Bec at La DeDah Kids, A T-Shirt for Baylin from Tinker Printink Studio and a gorgeous (on the wishlist for ages) necklace from Emily Green

Sunday was then the Mornington Main St Food and Wine Festival... So we walked down and drank coffee, ate donuts, watched musicians, touched animals in the animal farm and played mini golf! It was a lovely day.. I hope you all had a great weekend too... Tuesday already.. SCARY!!

geelong & fathers day

We packed up and headed to Geelong on Saturday for a market and a mini getaway for Fathers Day.
The market was great and it was nice to be selling lots of new things.
Lots of work now to load lots online and to book lots for markets for the rest of the year (cant believe its September!)
We then had a lovely day on Sunday which started with breaky at a cute little cafe in Geelong (the cottage) which was recommended by a lovely liker!
We then headed to Torquay for the day and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.
Here is a few (well lots!) for happy snaps of the weekend. I hope you all had a great fathers day weekend too...

Our family of 4 became 5!!

3 weeks have passed since the birth of my third child and I think its about time that I got back into some work!!

Firstly Happy New Year to you all and I hope you have had a great start to 2012. I defiantly have :)

It is so nice not to be pregnant anymore and feel half normal. More energy and I am starting to get me sewing motivation back to get started on some new things. For the next few months anyway the goal is to start sewing again for a few outstanding wholesale customers and then slowly list things online for sale. With 3 kids under 3 and 1/2 markets are going to take a back seat for the short term. Working from home is much better option at the moment

3 weeks ago today my son Baylin Phillip was born at 12.24am (missed his due date by 24mins) weighing in at a big (for me!) 8 pound 3. My other two were 7pound and 7 pound 5! He was 52cms long.

I choose to have him in the family birth centre this time round and it was the best thing I could of done. The midwifes were great during the whole pregnancy and the birth was as good as it could be DRUG FREE but its so worth it in the end.

Its amazing how busy you can be with two kids and then a third one comes along and your love just grows stronger and stronger. I couldn't be a more proud and happy mum! (or MOM as Maisy calls me..hehe)

Deacon and Maisy have settled in so well to having a little brother and they love him to bits. Deacon tells me everyday when he sees him in the morning.... "Hes such a little cutie mum!" and Maisy loves when I put him on the change mat as she goes into mum mode and goes and gets his nappy to help change.

I plan to use my blog heaps more this year so I can share all my work and family news!!

Thanks for reading and looking forward to getting back into some work

Sam xx
